Winchester Model 42 Standard Grade Slide-Action Shotgun, #82445, .410 bore. 28'' plain barrel has a 3'' chamber and is choked Mod. 14-groove post-war forend and uncheckered pistol-grip buttstock are of American walnut with some figure; length of pull is 14-1/8'' to a solid red Winchester butt pad. Mfg'd 1950. Condition is near excellent with approx. 95% blue on receiver, showing only edgewear from carry. Wood has a few small nicks and bumps, but no serious gouges. Action shows little use and functions crisply; bore is bright. A very nice original Model 42. Est.: $900-$1,400. (C&R)
