Single-shot percussion, blackpowder rifle. Brown patina finish. One piece wood stock. 37 3/4' barrel. The barrel, lock plate, hammer, and ramrod, appear antique, with age, The stock, and brass furniture appear to be newer replacements. there is a name on the lock plate (unreadable). The nipple is a newer replacement. The hammer has been filed, and is held in place by a newer replacement screw. The one cock hammer works. There is tape holding the barrel to the stock. bore is dark/rusty. Would look nice over the fireplace, but is operable. NRA Condition-Fair. Antique firearm.
