Born in Texas, Michael McCullough was educated at West Texas State University where he earned a B.S. and a Master's Degree. He and his wife made their home in Albuquerque where he paints the changing landscape and also creates Indian-style pottery with intricate designs. He is a member of the Choctaw Indian Nation in Oklahoma.
