^Lot 724 Colt New Service .357 Mag SN: 136635

Scarce 1917 vintage large frame double-action revolver with "NY ST No 36" engraved on the backstrap. Featured a polished blued refinish, 6" barrel, blade front sight, square notched rear sight, non-shrouded ejector rod, smooth trigger, knurled hammer spur, fluted six-shot cylinder, provisions for a lanyard ring on the butt, and two-piece Mershon black rubber grips. Revolver exhibits nearly all of it's bright blued finish showing some light scattered scratches and handling marks. Action is crisp with solid lock-up, the bore is excellent, markings are good with the exception of the rampant colt and the rubber grips are very good. Condition is NRA Excellent as refinished. ***C&R Firearm***
