Lot 384 Warner Arms The Infallible .32 ACP SN: 1274

'Early Type Ia" WWI era American made striker fired semi-automatic pistol chambered in .32 Auto, manufactured circa 1915-1917. Features a blued finish, 3.2" ribbed barrel with integral blade front sight, 'v' notched rear sight, smooth trigger, manual safety on the left side of the frame, take-down lever on the cocking block, push button magazine release, 7 round magazine, cast metal frame and checkered brown hard rubber grips with "WAC" monograms on the tops. The frame bears the sencond type lengend which reads “THE INFALLIBLE”/WARNER ARMS CORPORATION, NORWICH, CT. U.S.A./PATENTED JULY 28th, 1914 - MARCH 9th, 1915". The barrel retains the majority of it's blued finish showing a bulge 1" in from the muzzle and the frame shows traces of bluing in the protected areas with the balance in-the-white with a mottled brown patina. Action is smooth, the bore is poor and the hard rubber grips are fair with a chip on the top of the right panel. Condition is Fair. ***C&R Firearm***
