Engraved 1901 vintage double action revolver with factory letter. Shipped to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company of Chicago, Illinois on June 21, 1901 in a four gun shipment. Blued refinish, 4.5" barrel with three line address, round blade front sight, 'u' notched rear sight, fluted swing-out cylinder with six chambers, non-shrouded ejector rod, smooth trigger, knurled hammer spur, floral scroll engraving with punch dot background, and jigged bone grips. Revolver exhibits nearly all of it's matte blued refinish showing little wear with some scattered light pitting visible under the finish. Action is strong with some play in the lock-up, the bore is fair, markings are mostly legible and the grips are very good. Condition is NRA Good as refinished. ***C&R Firearm***
