US M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle by Springfield Armory, .30 caliber, Serial #1622299. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 24” SA barrel dated 11-52. The metal surfaces retain the majority of their military finish with primarily handling marks. The rifle has been arsenal refinished with a receiver that appears to have been welded. The smooth wood stock is in good condition with only storage marks and no visible cartouches. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp. Est.: $700-$1,400. (C+R).
