US M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle by Springfield Armory, .30 caliber, Serial #1537158. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 24” SA barrel dated 12-48. The metal surfaces retain the majority of their military finish with thinning of finish at the muzzle. The smooth wood stock is in good condition with small mars and handling marks and no visible cartouches. The butt stock includes sling swivels, period leather military style sling and ends with a steel butt plate with trap. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp.
