“Mexicanized” Colt ’61 Navy conversion to .38 centerfire with 1871-72 patent dates, S/N 31790. Old re-nickeled finish with bleached and died bone grips carved with Mexican eagles (Note: shows nerve and not ivory). Just the type a “Bandito” would have holstered in the 19th century along the southwest borders. Very showy. (Antique) Est.: $1500-$3000
