Colt Model 2 .28 caliber Root revolver with original flap holster, S/N 11425. All matching numbers. This root remains in original good plus condition with 30%-50% original blue. 50%-60% light original cylinder scene and good markings. Some light moderate pitting and erosion. Very good varnished select wood grips with slight burl. Some losses of varnish on the right grip and 60%-70% overall finish remains on grips. The action works well. Very good plus flap holster with plugged bottom which is original to the period. Provenance: The award winning Colt Collector’s Association member Malcolm R.
