U.S. M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle by Winchester, .30 caliber, 24” Winchester WP-marked barrel, original Winchester military finish except for barrel which is in the white; wood stock in very good condition and unmarked; interestingly, there is no evidence of a S/N being stamped on the top rear of the receiver; the rifle exhibits all early Winchester components; bore is excellent, crisp action; solid butt plate with no trap; the butt stock under the butt plate appears to have been reduced to eliminate inletting for butt plate with butt trap.
