Springfield 1863 Special Musket in .58 caliber rifled bore with 40” barrel and standard 3 band configuration. Very good plus overall untouched condition showing light patina on bright metal that has not been cleaned. Very good stock with visible cartouches and minor dings and nicks. 2 good cartouches in wood and original ramrod. Correct rear sights and small parts. Working well. From Dr. Cairns collection in storage for decades and would clean well. (Antique) Est.: $700-$1400
