Chieftan’s quality French flintlock pistol of Horsemans size made for Mid-East trade signed “B. Dumarest A’ Marseille” in script on the lock. Measures 21” overall with 14 ¼” barrel of 60+ caliber smoothbore. Fancy high relief cast mounts with silver wire inlaid stock. Chiseled high relief florals at breech end of barrel. Very good condition with some missing wire and minor imperfections and normal wear. Lock works well. (Antique) Est.: $1750-$3500
