Colt Model 5A Root revolver in .31 caliber with a 4 ½” barrel and fluted cylinder, S/N 5526 with British proofs. This pistol shows 90%-95% bright and inky blue on the frame. 90% plus fiery case colors on the hammer and rammer. The barrel and cylinder have drifted to patina with traces of blue. The grips show damage and loss to inside toe otherwise very good plus with 80% varnish. Sharp and crisp overall. Very caseable and would look nice in oak case. (Antique) Est.: $2000-$4000
