Lot of Two (2) Turkish Mauser Bolt Action Rifles: 1.) Model 1893 converted in 1936 to Model 1938 specifications, #22085, 8mm Mauser, 29'' barrel, no finish, straight grip hardwood stock, inverted ''V'' front sight, and ''V''-notched tangent rear sight. No cleaning rod. Receiver ring with later type ''ASFA / Ankara'' stamp; left side of receiver with Turkish script. Numbers do not match. Bottom of the barrel is import marked. Condition is fair to good. A majority of the metal is silvery gray with scattered dark spotting, light pitting and some light surface rust. A thorough cleaning should improve the overall condition. Wood with general small dings and scratches; right side with wood infill below the bolt handle. Good action; dark bore with good rifling. 2.) Model 1938 K. Kale, #237333, 8mm Mauser, 29'' barrel, no finish, hardwood stock, inverted ''V'' front sight, ''V''-notched tangent rear sight, with cleaning rod. Receiver ring with standard ''Ankara / K. Kale'' markings and dated ''1946''. Barrel is import marked. Rear sight and receiver with matching numbers. Condition is good. Metal is a combination silvery gray with dark highlights throughout; scattered spots of surface rust are also present. Metal should improve with a thorough cleaning. Right side of stock with a crack below the chamber and needs replacement or repair. Good action; dark bore with nice rifling. Est.: $200-$400/lot. (Both/C&R)
