Turkish M1938 Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #145180, 8x57mm cal., 29.25'' barrel, blued finish, hardwood stock, inverted ''V'' front sight with adjustable tangent rear sight. Stamped on receiver ring ''TC ASFA ANKARA'' around Turkish crescent over ''K.KALE 1943''. Mismatched numbers, cleaning rod is missing. Condition overall is very good with approx. 50% thinning blue finish remaining on metal surfaces, turning to a brown patina in places. Wood is very good with darkening and handling marks. A white triangle has been painted on the right side of the butt. Action is smooth, bore is bright with very good rifling. Import stamped on right side of barrel. Est.: $150-$250. (C&R)
