Lot of Two (2) Turkish Mauser Bolt Action Rifles: 1.) Model 1938 K. Kale, #4263, 8mm Mauser, 24'' barrel, blue finish, hardwood stock, inverted ''V'' front sight with protective ears, ''V''-notched tangent rear sight. No cleaning rod or rear sling swivel. Receiver ring with standard ''Ankara / K. Kale'' markings and dated ''1944''. Barrel is import marked. Rear sight and receiver with matching numbers. Condition is good. Metal with is a combination toning blue and brown in color. Right side of the stock with a crack near the triggerguard and a sliver missing near the front barrel band; otherwise, showing scattered shallow impressions and scratches. Turkish markings are clear. Good action and bore; grooves are lightly frosted with sharp rifling. 2.) Model 1938 K. Kale, #1F63750, 8mm Mauser, 29'' barrel, inverted ''V'' front sight that is loose and needs permanent attachment, ''V''-notched tangent rear sight, with cleaning rod. Receiver ring with standard ''Ankara / K. Kale'' markings and dated ''1941''. Barrel is import marked. Rear sight and receiver with matching numbers. Condition is good. Metal is a combination darkened blue and silvery gray. Turkish markings are clear. Upper handguard is dark, otherwise, stock shows scattered dings and mars. Action is good with heavy cosmoline; dark frosted bore with plenty of rifling. Est.: $200-$400/lot. (Both/C&R)
