Very Original Stevens/Springfield Field Grade .410 Side-by-Side Shotgun, #E81588. 26'' .410 bore barrels have 3'' chambers and are choked Full/Full. Action is simple case hardened boxlock with crossbolt lockup. Double triggers, auto safety, and plain extractors. Straight-grained walnut semi-beavertail forend and straight grip buttstock are uncheckered, with plain Stevens buttplate. Probably mfg'd 1930's. Condition is amazingly original, with very few marks to wood and approx. 98% case hardening to receiver. Action is still tight and functions correctly; bores are excellent. A nice little gun for Field or Skeet. Est.: $350-$500. (C&R)
