British No. 1 Mark III* Lee-Enfield Bolt Action Rifle, #F87211, .303 British cal., 25.2'' barrel, blued finish, hardwood stock, blade front sight with protective ears and tangent leaf with notch rear sight. Marked on right side of action body ''(crown)/G.R B.S.A. Co 1917 SHT.L.E. III*''. Matching numbers. Unmarked brass disc on right side of buttstock. Condition overall is very good with approx. 90% of the blued finish remaining on metal surfaces. Wood is very good with an even color and scattered light handling marks and scratches. Action is smooth, bore is excellent with sharp rifling. No visible import stamps. Includes a British tan cotton sling, brass oiler, and cleaning thong in very good condition. Est.: $350-$450. (C&R)
