Austrian Model 1895 Mannnlicher Straight-Pull Rifle, #4050H, 8x56R cal., 30.12'' barrel, blued finish, hardwood stock, inverted ''V'' front sight and adjustable folding leaf rear sight. Marked on barrel ''STEYR M95'' and stamped on the chamber with a large ''S'' indicating Austrian arsenal conversion to chamber the pointed ''Spitzgeschoss'' bullet. Missing rear sling swivel (screws present). Matching numbers (stock renumbered). Condition overall is very good with over 80% finish remaining on the metal, with the buttplate and front band showing light rust and tarnish on the bolt knob. Wood is very good with an applied varnish showing flaking and scratches over old handling marks. Bore is poor with rust, especially near the muzzle. Bolt is functional with characteristic stiffness.
