Nazi Officer's Lion's Head Sword, by Eickhorn. Aluminum pommel with red glass eyes, decorated handguard and Nazi eagle on the langet. Triple aluminum wire wrapping on the black composite hand grip. Marked ''Ges. Gesch'' on the underside of the crossguard. This may be one of the Field Marshall Series of Eickhorn swords. Nickel -plated blade measures 34'' long and is maker marked Eickhorn, Solingen, at the ricasso. Overall is 40''. Condition is good overall. Black-painted scabbard shows numerous scratches and scuffs, but retains approx. 70% of its original finish. Est.: $400-$600.
