Colt Police Positive First Issue Double Action Revolver, #20666, .38 Spec. cal., 6'' barrel, blue finish, niter blue to trigger and top of hammer; checkered hard rubber ''Colt'' marked grips, half-round front sight and frame notched rear sight. Left sideplate with ''Rampant Colt'' and stylized ''C'' logo; top of barrel with two-line ''July 4, 1905'' last patent date address. Mfg'd 1909. Wear to the grip area, as well as intermittent finish loss, leaves this revolver with approx. 70% original blue. Metal with some fine pitting on the spots of bare metal. Grips are very good with a few thin scratches to the flat borders; checkering is crisp. Action is good with a smooth hammer and trigger; cylinder with a little play.
