Colt Officer's Model Target Third Issue Double Action Revolver, #578156, .38 Spec. cal., 6'' barrel, blue finish, checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions, adjustable front and rear sight. Barrel with ''Oct. 5, 1926'' last patent date address. Mfg'd 1927. Metal rates very good with approx. 70% remaining original blue finish showing general light surface scratches. Barrel address, etc. are clear. Grips show considerable age and wear; checks on the right grip have worn mostly flat. Good action; cylinder has a little bit of movement; hammer and trigger are smooth. Bright bore rates near excellent. Est.: $300-$500. (C&R/PPT)
