Large Bore English Percussion Single Shot Coat Pistol, marked ''J. Beattie 205 Regent Street London'' on top barrel flat, NVSN, approx. .54 cal., 3.75'' smoothbore octagonal barrel, engraved iron lock, triggerguard and cap trap in butt. Circa 1835-1850. Dark hardwood stock is finely checkered overall. Missing captive-style iron ramrod. Condition is good with a smooth dark age patina to metal.
