Winchester Model 53 Lever Action Rifle, #993751, .44-40 cal., 22'' barrel, blue finish, button mag, walnut stock and forend, with standard rear and gold bead front sight. Mfg'd 1928. Condition is fine as refinished. Nickel steel barrel with approx. 85% blue; frame and lever with 40% toning blue. Stock has been stained dark with an additional coat of varnish.
