U.S. Model 1917 Enfield Bolt Action Rifle, by Winchester, #483929, .30-06 cal., 24'' barrel, blued finish, walnut stock, blade front sight with protective ears and adjustable folding leaf rear sight. Stamped on receiver ring ''U.S. MODEL OF 1917 WINCHESTER''. Winchester barrel is dated 1-18. Mismatched bolt is of Winchester mfg. with Eddystone stock. Left side of barrel is import marked. Condition overall is very good with approx. 80% finish remaining; triggerguard and floorplate with little remaining finish. Wood has been sanded relatively smooth and refinished with a flat oil type finish. Action is smooth, bore is very good with sharp rifling. Est.: $400-$600. (C&R)
