^Lot 483 Colt Diamondback Double Action Revolver

Colt Diamondback Double Action Revolver, #D40916, .38 Spec. cal., 4'' vent rib barrel, blue finish, factory checkered walnut grips with gold Colt medallions, ramped front sight, with adjustable rear sight. Mfg'd in 1970. Condition is near excellent with approx. 98% factory blue finish. Metal surfaces show intermittent slight scratches and other normal small handling marks; right side of trigger and lower portion of frame with a small amount of tiny specks of oxidation. Bottom of barrel with a patch of light scratching. Grips show moderate handling marks, mainly to the bottom edges; checkering is sharp with bright gold medallions. Factory lettering is clear and well defined. Cylinder with a thin index line. Action is smooth and crisp with a near excellent bore that shows just normal light wear. Est.: $1,000-$1,500.
