^Lot 408 High Condition .22 Mag. Winchester M.61 Rifle

Desirable High Condition .22 Magnum Winchester Model 61 Slide Action Rifle, #342713, .22 Win. mag. RF cal., 24'' round barrel, blue finish, pistol-grip wood stock and 17-groove forend, factory black composition buttplate, dovetailed silver bead front sight, standard notched elevator rear sight, with grooved receiver. Top of barrel and frame are Winchester proofed. There is a letter ''A'' below the serial number on the triggerguard indicating an internal factory update. Mfg'd 1962. Metal surfaces retain approx. 99%+ factory blue and rate as excellent overall. The most noticeable blemish on the metal would be a small flat spot on the right bottom edge of the triggerguard. Barrel address, etc., are all clear and well defined. Wood rates fine and retains 97% of its finish. Top edge of buttstock near the buttplate with a few shallow scratches. Bottom edge of buttstock with some surface dents and scratches, as well as a .25'' spot of finish loss; forend shows only slight handling marks. Action is crisp with an excellent bore.
