^Lot 363 Springfield M1 Garand

U.S. M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle, by Springfield, #928797, .30-06 cal., 24'' barrel dated 10-42, parkerized finish, correct ''SA/EMcF'' cartouched walnut stock, WWII lock bar rear sight, stamped triggerguard, with post-war green canvas sling. Condition is fine retaining approx. 95% parkerized finish. Stock with general darkening, pressure dings, scuffs and scratches. Cartouche is 75% clear but has smoothed with time. Rifle appears to be all original, with the exception of the trigger group, and buttplate may have been re-parkerized at a later date; front sight screw is cut for seal which is missing.
