U.S. Model 1898 Krag Bolt Action Carbine, by Springfield, #87448, .30-40 cal., 22'' barrel, blue finish, walnut stock. Mfg'd 1897. Condition is fine. Blue components retain approx. 92% blue finish. Case hardened frame and sideplate have silvered and grayed. Stock is fine with light general impressions, mostly forward of magazine cover and to left side of upper handguard.
