Royal Northwest Mounted Police Colt New Service Double Action Revolver, #61626, .455 Eley cal., 5.5'' barrel, blue finish, factory checkered hard rubber grips. Backstrap stamped ''RNWMP 1179''; butt and frame beneath left panel marked ''MP''. Frame and crane both marked ''61626''; grips are numbered ''26942''. Grips and finish features, such as high polish blue to frame, suggests that this revolver was mfg'd prior to 1913. Condition is good retaining approx. 40%-50% blue.
