^Lot 216 Colt Detective Special Double Action Revolver

Colt Detective Special Double Action Revolver, #450348, .38 Spec. cal., 2'' barrel, blue finish, factory checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions. Possibly a military courier's gun as there appears to be a very small flaming bomb at the upper left portion of frame. A factory letter would certainly be interesting. Mfg'd 1936. Condition is very good with approx. 85%-90% blue remaining. Grips with heavy wear with a somewhat light trigger pull and a bright bore. Est.: $500-$750. (C&R/PPT)
