^Lot 182 Colt New Service Double Action Revolver

Colt New Service Double Action Revolver, #324761, .45 ACP or Auto Rim cal., 5.5'' barrel, blue finish, factory checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions, and lanyard loop in butt. Mfg'd 1926. Condition is fine as modified, with barrel marked ''.45 Colt'', but clearly chambered in .45 ACP. Approx. 85%-90% original finish is retained, showing wear and scratches, particularly to the frame. Front and back strap with possible factory hand checkering to metal surfaces. Grips appear to have been later checkered with pronounced border. Front sight has been notched for bead which is now missing. Smooth and crisp action, fine bore. Est.: $800-$1,200. (C&R)
