^Lot 2 British Tower Pattern 1793 Flintlock Musket

British Tower Pattern 1793 Flintlock Musket Shortened to Musketoon Length, NVSN, approx. .75 cal., 27.5'' smoothbore round barrel with proofs and a ''Broad Arrow'' acceptance mark at breech. Lockplate stamped ''Tower'' in a vertical curve behind cock and with the George III cypher and ''(Crown) / Broad Arrow'' Ordnance stamp beneath the pan. Appears to be in original flintlock configuration. Brass serpentine sideplate, triggerguard, buttplate and two ramrod thimbles; replacement brass forend cap, single iron sling swivel and iron ramrod, and walnut fullstock. Condition is good as modified showing cleaned pitted iron surfaces having light age toning and polished brass. Stock with missing sliver on right side along the barrel, age scratches and dings.
