Pair of German 18th century flintlock Military issue horseman’s size pistols converted to percussion with contriner type nipple safety and swivel ramrod added. Brass mounts with large swivel in butt. Measures 21” overall with nearly a 13” barrel of approximately .67 caliber smoothbore. “V” and crown proof and breech and tang. Markings removed from lock plate when converted (Originally marked “F” with Roman numerals). The hammer also engraved at the time of conversion. Very good plus condition with crisp wood showing just minor aging and slight imperfections. (Antique) Est.: $2000-4000
