Colt Service Model Ace semi-automatic pistol, .22LR caliber, 5” barrel, blued finish, two tone magazine, checkered wood grips, S/N SM 2489; overall fine to excellent condition displaying majority of its blued finish, fine bore, crisp action, sharp markings including “W.B.” inspection on left side of frame above magazine release and fine grips; accompanied by a factory letter confirming caliber, barrel length and finish (stocks “Not Listed”); shipped to Commanding General, Springfield Armory, Springfield, Massachusetts on Dec. 16, 1941, Colt factory order #9966, 60 guns in shipment.
