Rare Ross Rifle Co. straight pull bolt action rifle, MK I .303 caliber, 23” barrel, blued finish, wood stock, leather sling, receiver tapped on left side for scope mount; steel butt plate with compartment for cleaning rod, etc.; wood shows Canadian proofs on right side of butt stock AND even rarer, “U.S.” and flaming bomb proofs behind trigger guard plus “10907”. Gun is in overall good condition with a good bore, crisp action, good markings and overall good wood stock. NOTE: Lot 1361 in this sale is a great original framed advertiser for the Ross Rifle Co. and Lot 1415 contains original catalogs for the Ross rifle; both lots would go nicely as display pieces for this rare rifle.
