^Lot 497 Colt Police Positive Special 38 Spl #169612

Vintage small frame double action revolver chambered in .38 Special, manufactured circa 1919. Features a satin silver/black finish, tapered 5" barrel, round blade front sight, 'u' notched rear sight, long fluted six-shot cylinder, non-shrouded ejector rod, smooth trigger, knurled hammer spur and two-piece fancy checkered black hard rubber grips with COLT decor. Revolver exhibits scattered pin prick pitting and losses with approximately 50% finish intact overall. Action is mechanically sound with tight lock-up, the bore is good with some light pitting, the markings are good and the hard rubber grips are good with a chip in the heel of both panels.
