Weatherby Mark XXII semi-automatic rifle, .22 LR caliber, Serial #J-31627. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 24” barrel. The metal surfaces retain the majority of their high polish blue finishwith wear at the muzzle and small scratches. The receiver is marked South Gate and the barrel is marked made in Japan. The finely checkered wood stock is in good condition with numerous small mars and compressionsfrom carry and use, Ebony grip cap and forend, ending with a rubber butt pad providing a 13 ¾” LOP. The rifle is topped with a Weatherby Mark XXII fixed 4x rifle scope. The lot includes one correct magazine and a leather military style sling.
