Civil War era Gunsmith wooden chest full of relic Colt parts from percussion arms, full of parts of Brevet Colts, Colts and what may be Confederate parts. This case was given by Hinman Garland to the Los Angeles CountyMuseum in the 1960’s and by tradition came from a Confederate Arsenal in Alabama during the Civil War; includes cylinder, frames, triggerguards, backstraps and other parts, all in similar fair to poor condition with aslight coating of rust; a very interesting display item; chest is approximately 19” wide x 7” high x 11” deep.
