Weatherby Athena O/U shotgun, 12 gauge, Serial #DA00233. The shotgun is in very good overall condition with 26” barrels with a full-length ventilated rib and brass bead front sight. The metal surfaces retainnearly all of their blue finish with light handling marks noted. The receiver is coin finished and beautifully scroll engraved with 90% coverage. The finely checkered wood stocks are in very good condition with nicefigure and small mars consistent with field use. The butt stock ends with a rubber recoil pad providing a 14” LOP to a single gold trigger. The bores are good, the action is crisp and markings are sharp on thisdesirable Weatherby.
