'M1905' Japanese military bolt action service rifle chambered in 6.5mm Arisaka, manufactured circa 1905-1945. Features a blued finish, 31.5" barrel, dovetailed inverted 'v' front sight, adjustable elevation rear sight, bayonet lug, two barrel bands, smooth trigger, straight bolt handle, 5 round internal box magazine with removable floorplate, sling swivels, smooth wood handguard and full-length semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with metal buttplate. The mum is intact and the arsenal marking is believed to be that of the Koishikawa Arsenal or Kokura Arsenal. Serial number are non-matching with the exception of the front barrel band and rear sight leaf. Rifle exhibits approximately 15% if it's original finish showing some bright bluing on the rear of the receiver with the balance of the metal surfaces varying tone of light and dark grey patina. Action is sound, bore is dark with what appear to be good rifling and the wood stocks are good fair to good with several blemishes. Condition is near NRA Good. ***C&R Firearm***
