Remington New Model Police revolver in .36 caliber percussion with a 3 ½” octagon barrel, S/N 6224. Factory engraved with desirable highway man etched cylinder scenes. The pistol remains in fine condition with Lot Title 95%-98% original dulling and slightly aged nickel finish. 70% plus case hardening on the hammer and bright blue on the trigger. Very good original ivory grips with yellowish patina with small losses, minor cracks and Lot Title just normal aging. Crisp address and sharp edges. Few known with deluxe factory etched cylinders.
