Colt 1911 commercial with marking “U.S.C.CO. XX372” and date “L.21-1919” on the right side of the frame. Goddard book page 266 confirms shipment to U.S. Cartridge Company who most likely used as an ammunition tester. Lot Title The Colt shows a quality restoration to mint condition. The interior shows use but well cared for with good bore. A significate Colt collector’s piece. (C&R/PPT) Est.: $1400-$2800
