18CB-4 BRITISH ISSUE PISTOLBritish Military issue pistol in .69 caliber with Tower lock markings and full inspections dated 1759 in the stock and inscribed in script “Rodger’s Rangers” on the forwards portion of the barrel. Brown patina finish in very good plus condition with some cracks in the stock by the rear near the butt cap. Uncleaned patina. Two books on Rodgers Rangers included with long inscription in pen by Charles DuPont concerning this pistolwhen in his iconic collection which started before WWII. All original flintlock parts and uncleaned dark “As found patina”. Measures 15 ½” overall with a 9 ¼” barrel.
