18CA-6 FLINTLOCK HORSEMAN'S PISTOLGerman or Dutch flintlock horseman’s size pistol circa 1710-1740 with simple brass mounts and pierced serpentine side plate. Measures 21” overall with a 13 ¾” barrel of approximately .69 caliber smoothbore.Restored back to flintlock by master gunsmith Gary Harrison of Rancho Bernardo for his own collection. Good condition overall with normal metal aging and very good wood. The butt cap has had the center piece (Probably a mask) removed and replaced by iron stud. Many of this type were used during colonial era and Revolution by officers. The estate of Gary Harrison.
