This Indian Prayer Fan Bronze Sculpture was created by Navajo, Alvin Marshall (1959- ). Originally from the Four Corners area, Alvin now resides in New Mexico. Depicting Native American with flowing hair and face uplifted to the sky. A fan of feathers sits in front of his chest. A very contemporary, flowing piece. Extremely well made and sturdy, this is about 16 3/4" tall and 13" wide and is mounted on a wood base with a turntable. In excellent condition and signed on back 'Alvin K Marshall 1980. This absolutely beautiful, Indian Prayer Fan Bronze Sculpture tells a continuing story of Native American history from those who live it today!
