Type 38 Rifle model of 1905, Barrel Length: 31.5” manufactured C. 1905, Kokura Arsenal series 20. Overall condition fair-good 70% original finish remaining. Crack upper left wrist of stock, gouge in wood top right of wrist. Strong rifling Mum ground but visible. The type 38 is a Japanese type 30 rifle improved and simplified by Major Kijiro Nambu following experience during Russo-Japanese War. *C&R Firearm*
