Overall condition fair, 20% original finish remaining, rifle has been sporterized with a custom stock and shortened barrel. Bore shows some pitting. A Norwegian-designed bolt-action rifle, it was adopted in 1892 as the standard United States Army military longarm, chambered in U.S. caliber .30-40 Krag.
