"Buffalo Indian Dancer II" Bronze Sculpture by Hugh Cabot (1930-2005) is titled "Noggle Bronze II". Issued in 1975, this limited edition is #4 of 25. A traditional dance of the Plains Indians that coincided with the return of the herds, the raw impassioned intensity of the figure can be felt! Including the base, it's 11-3/4" tall & about 7" wide. In excellent condition, the metal is dated & signed. This Buffalo Indian Dancer II Bronze Sculpture is dramatic art.....to say the least & one of a kind! Hugh Cabot III was a war time artist for the Navy. He was a prolific artist & worked in many different mediums. For 37 years, he lived and worked in Tubac, AZ where he owned a gallery to show his work. This gallery is still open to the public today!
